Day 3 - Sezze (33 kms)

Long day today, vicious climb out of Cori, it probably helped that it was mostly in the dark, then 13kms to Norma, picture below. Walked on a while, had one look at Sermoneta and said, let’s go around. My first great decision of the trek.

The thing with the mountains is going up (and down) there are usually a bunch of switchbacks which consume a lot of energy and you aren’t actually going forward. And given that this was effectively a double stage and there was a lot of mountain stuff at the end I thought, let’s give this one a skip, especially seeing I’m staying at Sezze, yet another hilltop stop though not as high as Cori. Maybe some pics might help.
